ARTIST STATEMENT:

Having years of traditional art training, experience, observation and experimentation behind me, I create my art. In an effort to keep up with our ever changing world, we are too often in such a hurry we miss the wondrous creations all around us. Some so tiny we walk on by. Some too large we must stop and take a step back and a moment to ponder. My favorite pastime other than drawing is a good walk through the woods and fields of Ohio and Pennsylvania. I carry a simple camera and capture images of creatures in their natural surroundings for inspiration in my drawings and paintings. I hope my work reflects a tiny bit of such wonders. Get quiet, be still and absorb the beauty. Enjoy the journey and Live a Grateful Life!
